Hi Lynn, this kind of active defense against infection, I will take notes, I myself use zinc, Vit C,echinacea, cod liver oil, etc., my mom, years ago, who never followed any natural health sources, would tell us that she took 3 vit. A capsules when she felt an infection coming on, and it knocked it out. It worked, too..in recent years the scare over large doses of A made people turn to Beta Caratenoid sources instead of vit. A, but if you don’t overdo taking A, you’re OK.
