Is this monster sinkhole in Kansas still sinking?

August 5, 2013 | In the pasturelands of the Kansas county of Wallace, a report of a hole in the earth is none too newsworthy, but when that hole is the equivalent of an NHL-sized ice rink and deep enough to bury two or three telephone poles stacked end to end, well, now we have something to discuss. You can bet the farm on that. The Kansas sinkhole was reported on by WIBW Topeka on Aug. 2.  The massive sinkhole opened up smack center of Dalton Hoss’ pasture in Sharon Springs, Kan., leading some people to visit in awe and others to get a little edgy about how stable the ground really is. “Actually, my brother found it. He called me up and his voice was quaking and he said, ‘You’ll never believe what I just saw,’” Hoss said. No one was reported as being injured from the sinkhole, but officials are warning residents and tourists to stay away. Fragmenting cracks on the surface of the ground near the hole appear to have compromised the ground stability. Some are wondering just how big, or deep, this hole will get. Examiner.Com

  1. HAS ANYONE QUESTIONED WHY THEY ARE ALL ROUND?

"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 God's call to the world! Are you ready?
