I’m just a little bit concerned. Let me tell you why. Understand that I’m sticking my neck out telling you this, but I think we deserve to know what our government is up to.
Very recently I was contacted by the Department of Homeland Security (click link below to see the letter). It was not the fact that they contacted me that has me worried, it was what they wanted that bothers me.
They want our emergency survival food. And they want it NOW!
Typically the government will post a Request For Information and receive bids from suppliers. As of this morning there are still no active public requests from DHS/FEMA. They are trying to keep this quiet by contacting makers of Emergency Survival Food directly and discreetly. Well…not on my watch!
You probably remember the big stir back in 2011 when FEMA put out that they wanted to purchase MILLIONS of meals of emergency food. The alternative media covered this topic so fiercely that they quickly cancelled the request saying that it was “premature” in nature.
But here we are, August 2013 and FEMA once again is trying to buy up large stockpiles of food. And they don’t want anyone to know it, and they want to take immediately delivery.
Friends…I’ve studied history. That is what got me into preparedness in the first place. History has shown us time after time that those who depend on the government to come to their aid during a disaster are the ones waiting the longest for help. Sometimes help never comes…or comes too late.
I do not believe these critical emergency food supplies should be in the hands of the government, stored in some secret warehouse only to be brought out and distributed to their own agencies first, with the rest of us getting table scraps long after we need it.
These life-saving meals belong in the hands of people like you and me. This is why I declined the opportunity to sell to the Department of Homeland Security.
But let’s not forget the most important part of this: Why the sudden sense of urgency? What do they know that we do not?
I’m not one to cry that the sky is always falling, but when DHS/FEMA make a move to quietly buy up emergency food supplies and ask how much we can ship within 24 hours…I think this is far enough outside the realm of what is “normal” to beg some questions.
Fortunately I’ve been in this business long enough to predict what happens next. One or more of the other “survival companies” out there will inevitably see a chance to make a quick buck from Uncle Sam (which is really paid for by us, the taxpayer). This could create a run on many of the core raw ingredients used by emergency food makers that will cause a ripple effect throughout the industry as supply chains become bottle-necked handling the FEMA/DHS request.
Fortunately I was able to put in a large order in anticipation of the impact of the FEMA request (and whatever they may be urgently preparing for) and I have production machines working around the clock to ensure an increase of the available supply in our warehouse as soon as possible.
Update: Due to the number of people responding to and acting on the information disclosed above we have updated our estimated ship time for Emergency Food products to two weeks.
Like myself, I’m sure you are also uneasy about this request. What it means we have yet to see. But as they say, “knowledge is power”.

just three, but I think if you hear from them that may provide more support for your investigation.
I had once spoken to someone at MRE Depot and he told me (Steve Cyros-VP of sales) that once the US govt. would come in with a BLACK American Express card (Govt. purchases only) and used to buy out his entire warehouse in one swoop. They would them just order 18 wheeler trucks to come in and load up.
Ok, check with him if this started up again.

However, I do know a few other people on the inside..one that works for DHS, and two who work for other branches of the government who have confirmed enough that I believe this. Lyn, Interesting. I just spoke via mil with another major supplier. He confirmed the inquiry as he was contacted by FEMA on 8/1. They pressed for all answers on all supplies available and asked to ‘visit” the warehouse next week. He evaded them stating he would be out of town-but he was uncertain he would be able to evade them for long and suspected he would be “pressed” by the FEMA contact shortly.
I wonder who else got the email and HOW MUCH is actually wanted-especially if no RFP has been actually posted-the numbers might be too high to comprehend or to justify publically during the “sequestration” of the budget issue.

So, u are saying that you have confirmed these actions, then…right?
Lyn, I would say, that my source at MRE DEPOT-another major supplier has confirmed it.
We (he and I) had this conversation before as it had happened some years back where the government (I think it was then FEMA as well) came and bought up everything in his warehouse-repeatedly.
Furthermore, I recall about Sept 1, 2005-many MRE suppliers announced a six month hold on sales due to shortages of MRE’s (Sopatco and others were producing at a maximum rate at the time) due to the combined demand of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as the Hurricane Katrina disaster.
But, the urgency of this recent request and the details of supplies-including CANNED foods as well as MRE’s- indicates that suppliers will be pressed for all possible foodstuffs and the since these suppliers are retail and wholesale suppliers-this indicates that the info MUST be followed with an order (i.e. pallets filled for immediate shipping) because the supply data would become inaccurate shortly afterwards due to the normal input and output of commercial and retail orders from these suppliers.
Hence, to avoid errors in getting accurate number of supplies-once the numbers are tallied-the trucks will come in and ship the pallets out!
Now, it IS interesting that the email is fishing for total numbers of supplies, NOT a fixed amount to be purchased.
It appears with an RFP (request for proposal) nor an order for a fixed number of supplies, then this appears to be a large Federal food vacuuming approach to sequester the maximum amount of food stuffs available…BUT, for exactly WHAT?

Lyn, thank you so much for your articles. I appreciate the fact that Christ is part of your life and that there’s you and others that can see what’s truly happening. This just isn’t about govt tyranny, this is about things coming to real life from the bible. It’s hard to show people what’s going on without getting a “yeah right” from them. Whatever the event, there is little doubt that something wicked this way comes, for many Christians have had dreams of destruction and fire, and upheaval. Could it be that it will be a planned “Event” since appropriate agencies are apparently readying for the events?

Understanding the brutal nature of our unfolding police state,they already have ‘laws’ on the books where they can just send in their black boots and swat teams to seize whatever food they want ‘for the state’ instead of paying for it.
I think Obamnation knows when Israel will strike Iran and or Syria and they are preparing for blow back stateside,and it imminent and then we have our collapsing economic house of gasoline soaked cards about to go up,which is also imminent.
Everyone who follows alternative media knows something is coming. More likely than Madrid quake is a hit on a major US city (Chicago?) OR dollar collapse….followed by martial law. But SOMETHING is on its way.
I have reliable sources who say it has to do with bombings, fires, and terrorist activities coming sometime this year, or early next…
However, if Obama/Kerry succeed in dividing Israel, I have heard prophecies pertaining to that He will divide our land.. the New Madrid fault.
They (Gov) are not going to acquire that many resources for a PROBABLE quake. It would be a for a FINANCIAL collapse. The feds charter is up in Dec.
A currency collapse with riots is the more likely reason. FEMA/DHS have been cornering the market on ammunition. Going after food means people will be prevented from self sufficiency. FEMA will have the food. Purchased with your tax dollars. The Russian and Chinese troops will be on hand to “help”.
I agree its strange but why do you assume the new Madrid fault ???
Maybe it could be for the Coronol Mass ejection that Snowden was talking about happening in September?
