When people have hurt me and broken my heart,
When time has shown no mercy, and pain is an art…
Here comes my Savior, my Lord of all….
His arms outstretched, I will not fall…
Tears, they are racing, down my face,
And I am overcome with His precious grace.
“You are my strong tower, my warmth when I am cold….
From youth you have been with me, and until I am old.
When everyone else would tease and taunt,
O’ Jesus..my Lord…my refuge…come as close as you want!”

Your tears have been collected in a bottle. Not one drop has been forgotten.

Amen Sister Much Strength and Peace In Jesus Mighty Name
A beautiful poem! Thank you for sending me the link to get here. I’m also struck with the verse 2 Chron 7:14. It’s confirmation. ❤️
Amen! We love you Lyn! God bless you!
Thank you sister. I love you very very much too! And know this, God adores you and loves you especially!
I think you’re great Lyn. Will you marry me?! 🙂 x
Beautiful poem, Lyn ! This is my first visit to your site…I’m so happy I found it! Blessings….
Thanks, Leta. God bless you, and thank you so much for visiting. Look forward to seeing you around. 😉
Wonderful poem, Miss Lynny 😀
Thank you so much, Ms. Jewess…!
Every morning I take a long walk to my favorite Starbucks to read and write my blog. This morning I was blessed with this. It really helped kick off my morning right. Thanks for sharing this with me.
I am happy to do so. That is what many of us who belong to the Body of Christ are here for… to strengthen, bless, warn, exhort, love, etc. other people…. to bring those who have wandered away back to Christ, and to bring those who do not know to the cross of Jesus. In your case, I just thought you needed a little blessing. 🙂
I did indeed need the blessing so thank you very much. My career is in upheaval at the moment so any blessings and peace that keeps my mind off my troubles is very welcomed.
Praying for you! Guess what? Just give God praise, no matter how you feel..it’s the sacrifice of praise that pleases Him so much… and when we don’t feel it, it’s definitely a sacrifice Him. If you believe He is ultimately in control… and that He made the end before the beginning (according to a verse in Genesis) then it does not matter how things “look” or “seem” or “feel”…because He’s got His hands on you! Praise Him each day, several times a day.. and every time you feel down, say, “In the name of Jesus, it’s all good! I rebuke the spirit of worry, fear, doubt…in Jesus name. For it is written, “God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind!” and I stand on God’s Word!” God will bless you and take care of you. He is your Father… He’s brought you this far in life, Kevin… and He’s not about to let you down now. Only believe! God bless you!
Thank you so much Lyn. I do praise him every day. I have a job with a fantastic company but it was terribly misrepresented when I was recruited. There is no upward mobility for me and I feel useless in the role. I take great satisfaction in my career when it comes to serving others and enriching their businesses. I don’t get that in my current job. I have interviewed for another job for which they tell me they want to hire me but no offer letter has arrived. It would literally double my income and it would bring me back to the kind of work I know and love. I have turned this whole situation over to God. He knows what I want. I just have to wait and see what God wants for me. I do praise him for all the blessings he has given me and my family. Other than work, life is good. I know it could be much, much worse.
Well praise the Lord! Just keep doing what you’re doing, then, and you can’t go wrong! And I will continue praying for you in all things….
I love …..” In the name of Jesus, it’s all good!!!!! No matter what. Thank you for lifting my spirit.

Nice poem! Isn’t it wondrous, to “be overcome by His precious grace”. And the video offers a stunning perspective. I’m am basking in the reminder of His Sovereignty. Shalom! 😀 Beth
Thanks Beth..God bless you and I’m happy you liked it. I love the song! Shalom!
SOMETIMES,I wonder if the giant redwoods will survive the oceans coming over them, but I know the west coast will be gone, and they probably will to,but having been blessed enought to have seen the old world and the new restored world, the new one is much wilder looking and the water is so clear in the ocean, its like lake tahoe used to be back in the 50’s its so clear,THE ones who get to see the new world are going to be really surprised how beauitful the restoration job the LORD does on our planet is,he said,it will be returned to the way it was in the begining, and so it will be,want to see what I’am talking about?get as close to the lord as you can, maybe you’ll get to see it……………
Hey Lyn! This is an excellent poem. You are so talented. I have to admit, I disagree with much of your politics. However, every now and then you sweep me off my feet, so, I keep coming back for more.
Thanks so much for sharing. God blesses.
You’re welcome, Noel. It’s okay to disagree with others… we all have different calls on our lives. Some to exhort, some to repentance… repentance is more what people don’t want to hear. God bless you.
What matters is that we work together as a whole.. every part of the body does something different. Forgot to add that! And thanks for your kind words.
