From time to time, since I was a child, I have visions and prophetic dreams. When I have a vision, I am fully awake, my eyes are closed, and it’s as if I’m watching a movie. Just imagine what you see when you sit in front of your television set. That’s what I see on the television screens of my closed eyelids. Every time I’ve had one, it happened shortly after the vision, or the prophetic dream.
Three times in the past year, I have been awaken from my sleep by three very loud knocks on the bedroom door, except no one is here at my house. No one is outside. No one is anywhere. The third time happened yesterday during a nap. I was awaken abruptly by the three loud knocks.
I laid there, and this was spoken to me:
The Parable of the Fig Tree
28 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that it is near—at the doors! 30 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
After that, I closed my eyes and I had a vision. I saw thousands of white horses with chariots coming down at once from the sky, as if riding on an invisible road. In the front of them all was Jesus, with a medium-dark red cape draped over his shoulders. In my mind I could hear a sound like thunder…but louder than thunder! It was like the wheels of a hundred trains on the same track. Jesus looked powerful and angry! His mouth was open and His right arm raised.
When the vision ended, the Lord spoke to me again. He said, “Gather your children and your family and be ready! I am coming soon! Very soon! Sooner than you all think! Get ready!”
You must understand, once again, that every time I have something like this happen, it happens…and usually only a few weeks, to a few months afterward. They are real! My family can attest. I’ve told them things that I’ve seen and then they happened. As I told you, I’ve been having them since I was a kid. I wasn’t asleep..I was wide awake. Even when the knocks came at my bedroom door, I was just starting to doze off, but the knocks, just like all the other times, woke me up completely.
Please pass this around. Tell people it’s close! Warn them to get ready. Warn them to repent, even if you might offend them..DO IT anyway! Tell everyone you make contact with about Jesus, no matter how embarrassing or uncomfortable it might be. Do it!

It is no surprise that God placed you here to warn us. I have only known one other person who had the gift of prophecy, I remember our talks about 20 yrs ago and everything she predicted is coming to pass. God prepares His people that is for sure. Great post Lyn! I believe it to be true. I am not a prophet. However, over the past four or five years I have had some strange feelings or signs appear to me.
I started painting with water colors about five years ago and I painted an oriental symbol, I don’t know why I chose that? I thought the symbol said “Love” but it actually said “Joy”, 5 days later my step mother who was healthy, passed away, her name was Joy. It was strange because I was going to paint the translation on the side but I waited to look it up again just to be sure. I just happened to meet a young Japanese fellow painting these characters right after my step mothers death. He told me that the character I painted meant “Joy” not “Love” as I had thought.
About four years ago, I was at work and had a feeling of evil and impending doom! I felt darkness and depression. I did not know why. It did not make any sense to me. Well, one of my co-workers was pregnant at the time. Three days later she went to the hospital to give birth. The baby was still born. The baby was healthy up until that point.
I also had some very strange sensations around the 8th of March, 2011. I felt very strong sensations of energy, waves of energy, very, very strong. I had no idea what it meant. However, after having other feelings and sensations over the past few years followed by something happening, I felt like I should be aware of something very significant happening. Three days later ( 11 March, 2011 ) the magnitude 9.0 earthquake hit Japan followed by the Tsunami.
I have had other signs of less significant importance. But I have also had sensations of Jesus being very close to returning. I can see things unfolding before our eyes. I can feel urgency! As events are unfolding I can feel time speeding up. I feel as though the world is sleeping. I can feel Jesus knocking at peoples doors and they are not answering! If I can lead just one soul to Jesus then it is all worth it.
I am not sure if these were signs from God. But, I do believe that they were warning signs of things to come!

That is spiritual sensitivity and the gift of prophecy. You need to pray for the Lord to fine-tune this gift, as you would be able to warn people of something before it happens. This is one of the main purposes of having this gift. We can see this by example in the Bible. Elijah. Elisha. Jeremiah. Isaiah. John the Revelator. And more. God is showing you that you have the gift of spiritual sensitivity and prophecy, but you must believe it and then ask Him to fine tune your gift so you can warn people before something happens. He may in certain instances just want you to pray about it as opposed to warning the people. In other words, what you need to start doing if you haven’t already..every time something comes to your mind or you feel something like this, start praying..and pray for a long time. I don’t know if you believe in the gifts, like praying in the Spirit, but I do. Let me give you an example.
The other night I had a thought about a woman in Israel with children, and a man in her home with a knife. I prayed and prayed about it, and I was so tired, but the Lord would not allow me to sleep until I had prayed enough. I prayed in the Spirit and in my language. Finally, about 20-30 minutes of prayer, I fell asleep. At the same time I was praying this, come to find out, a woman in Israel was sound asleep with her small children when she was awaken to a noise of someone walking down her hall way. It was a Hamas terrorist with a knife. She did get stabbed in the face, but her husband was in the military, so she had been trained in self defense (a certain kind,can’t think of the name now). She ended up kicking this guy’s butt and locking him in her bathroom until military could arrive. The guy fled from the window, but was shot down by military and killed. Her children were safe, and other than her face being cut, she was okay. I am sure God had other people praying for the same thing at the same moment He moved me. I had no idea, but the thought and image came to my mind, so I prayed. Maybe the prayers of those of us who God moved at that time saved her and her children’s lives…maybe it woke her up in time to defend herself. Had she not awaken, her and her kids would’ve been killed. I don’t know. But aside from warning people of something, this is just another way the Lord uses the gift of prophecy. If you are having these situations you have described, you do have the gift. Those are the ‘symptoms’ (LOL) so to speak. 🙂
Lyn thanks for your advice. I do believe in the Gifts. I guess I just need to learn how to use them properly. I will pray for God’s wisdom and to help me with the gifts that he has given me. I am not sure what you mean by praying in the Spirit? and in your Language?
Lynn, how blessed you are to receive these visions and I thank you for sharing them with us. I have been wanting to mention something to you and ask you what you think about it. I am constantly seeing the number 333 everywhere. I see it almost every day on different things, so much so that it has called my attention. Have you ever heard of something like this? I wonder if it is something God is trying to show me.
Yes. Actually, several things I can tell you, remembering that we’re discussing numbers from a Biblical perspective, of course, and their meaning, as well as how God uses numbers to teach us things as well as other types of symbolism throughout the Bible.
For example, water oftentimes means the Holy Spirit, where fermentation means corruption. And I have argued this until I was blue in the ‘fingers’ LOL, but Jesus is God in the flesh. And He never drank wine. The translators called all of it wine. But in various places in the Bible, wine can mean: unfermented grape juice, vinegar, and fermented wine. If you study the original Greek, for instance, Jesus turned the water into ‘unfermented wine’, which was grape juice. During those days, grape juice was a delicacy. The people ‘ran out’ of wine, meaning they had to be pretty drunk. Do you think God would have gotten them more drunk by making more ‘fermented’ wine? Heavens no. If Jesus drank wine or turned it into alcoholic wine, then the Bible contradicts itself in that it tells us to be ‘drunk’ is a sin; furthermore, fermentation is always used to represent corruption and sin.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t know if it is a sin to have a small glass of wine once in a great while. However, I don’t believe God in the flesh had any need to drink fermented wine.
Okay, back to the subject at hand. Numbers. Sorry, got off track there 😉 The number 4 represents the bride of Christ, or the Body of Christ. The number one represents God. The number 7 represents Jesus. The number 6 represents man, Satan, and man in his most evil, corrupt form. The number three represents the Holy Spirit. Sometimes these numbers are used in threes instead of singularly to mean to same thing..but only these: 666, 444, 777 (meaning the same exact thing I described above.)
My number I see ‘everywhere’, from the background in a movie, to a license plate, to the time, to a Football score…this has been since I was a teen and still happens today. It is 714. The Lord revealed to me in church as a teen that it meant, for me, 2 Chronicles 7:14. I know what this verse means, and I know that this verse was the theme of the second book in the trilogy God gave to me..it was the call to the world. I know that He has called me to preach the nasty message people don’t like to hear and oftentimes rebuke me for (but I don’t care because I must please God and do as He has commanded, not man, who in so doing (rebuking me) are placing themselves above God). That nasty message is repentance because it involves being honest with people about sin. No candy coating. No sugar. No ear tickling. They hate it. People do not want to feel convicted these days. However, without conviction there can be no repentance. See the crafty plan of Satan in causing people to believe that telling the truth instead of ear tickling or being politically correct is judging? The people will never experience repentance because they think they can sin over and over and it’s okay; or, they want to believe the things they are doing are not sin. They will never come to repentance, and without repentance, you can’t be forgiven.
God is always ready to forgive, but we must repent. Repentance is not holding the cigarette in your hand and saying, “I’m sorry Lord,” as you take another puff. Repentance is this: conviction, admittance, apology to God and man (if you’ve sinned against someone), and ceasing the behavior. Then God forgives. Without the final part, God can’t forgive, although He wants to. But as long as you (I mean universally, not you personally) as long as you keep fornicating and adulterating against God, whom you married through the blood of Jesus at the time of salvation, He can’t forgive you. It would be the same as a person having sex with another person while they are married..admitting it to their spouse and apologizing, then going out the very next day and continuing in that adulterous relationship. However, with God, He will always forgive us when we ‘truly’ repent for cheating on Him whereas a human might be less likely. Even if they do, they will always live with the knowing and with the pain of the dishonest act.
So, I am not totally positive yet, but I believe 714 means these things to me that I’ve described: the call to preach repentance (2 Chron 7:14 is all about that) in my own personal life as well as preaching it to others. The fact that God gave me the trilogy I wrote, and He wanted that used as the basis for the second book.
God loves numbers in threes because three is the most perfect number in that the trinity is 3: God the Father (the head), Jesus Christ the Son (the voice of God), and the Holy Spirit (the hands and thoughts of God). Then, as I always say, there is one more important part of God’s body..His feet. We are the lesser parts, but we are His feet, carrying Him throughout the world. This is why the Bible says the “earth” is His footstool. Think about that for a moment. His feet (the body of Christ) are on the earth. In order for the earth to be His footstool, we would have to be His feet. We carry the Holy Spirit throughout the earth as we witness to others and tell them the truth of Jesus Christ..and even more, as we demonstrate the power and authority of God through our faith by having works with our faith as opposed to letting our faith just sit and do nothing. Remember, faith without works is dead. We must dwell in His anointing at all times! Whether we’re suffering with something, or driving down the street dealing with angry drivers..we must stay in Christ. We are representatives at ALL TIMES of God Himself in this world. Never are we to act or even look like the world.
I hope I’ve helped. Only God will reveal this to you if you ask Him and take time during prayer to not just be the talker, but the listener..quietly listening for His voice as you clear your thoughts during prayer. Maybe He’s telling you that you are complete in Him. Maybe you worry about your salvation. Or, maybe He is warning you that there is an area in your life where you’re unrepentant and you’re not surrendering, thus, being incomplete in Him without the total surrender/obedience to His will. I don’t know..I’m just throwing stuff out there. I can assure that if you ask God, He will tell you what it means in His time, when He’s ready for you to know. Ask Him only one time, and then after that, pray the prayer of faith..keep thanking Him that He HAS revealed it to you, even though you haven’t seen it yet.

This is WRONG on repentance. Christians are made perfect at the cross. The repentance needed for salvation is repentance from unbelief. If you couldn’t save yourself in the first place, then you can’t keep yourself saved. There is no one better than God who knows about sin. Sinners son. Christians sin. Christians are still sinners. They are sinners all the time and justified all the time.
Praying in the Spirit. Most people who believe in the gifts believe in praying in the Holy Spirit.
Make sure that America become REPUBLICAN CHRISTIAN and that Clinton and Obama need to answer for their crimes of treason and espionage against America, Israel and the Christians. We have a church that makes President Trump and Christ Gods so that the lives of our paishoners will be Holy and Righteous. I work for Jeff Sessions on spying on the Clintons and Obama in getting them to clean up their ways.
Those who have a calling as watchmen and/or prophets are known to also be ‘seers’. They may have prophetic dreams or visions with their eyes closed or open. Their messages line up with the Word of God and have two or three witnesses that will confirm whether they are from the Lord or not. Besides God’s Word, another key witness is always the Holy Spirit, which is the spirit of discernment. I believe God is preparing us for the soon coming of the Lord.

When you said that you were wide awake, when you had these visions, I finally found my way to describe to you why I felt so strongly, several times in my life that God, a power was speaking directly to me-I was wide awake. It is what I felt when I feared for my son, that God sat me down and told me twice that he would keep my son safe and make me strong enough to do the things we were supposed to do-it didnt happen. This is the first time it didnt happen. I have had experiences where something happened that frightened me and was given a message that there was nothing to fear,in maybe a month, i found out that it was true, the thing I had feared was not something I needed to be afraid of…There have been others. I can’t explain why these things happen to some of us, why the one that mattered most to me did not turn out to be what happened, but maybe now, I can explain why my feelings ffelt so real to me and why i feel so betrayed…beebee
Yes, it’s interesting when it does happen, isn’t it? I didn’t have fear about it… it was just an urgency to tell everyone…to get ready. I feel happy about it. Sad for those who don’t know Him..but I had a happiness…but a warning at the same time.

No, I was wide awake. I have these frequently when I’m awake. I haven’t had one for a while though, until yesterday.
I mean . . . I dream too. . . while asleep. Rarely. But also have visions. Thanx for sharing.

I believe it. When I have them, they usually happen fairly soon after I have them. I find it odd too that this was the ‘third’ time I heard the ‘three’ knocks..and the only time I had the vision with it. When I say soon, as I described above..usually within weeks, or months.
It’s interesting how things happen in 3s in dreams. I have had a few prophetic dreams and visions too. The first was like a night vision. After that, I had 4 open visions. I was wide awake and my eyes were wide open, and it was daylight each time. I call my open visions “glances” because the visions were fleeting. Most of them involved words. One vision was an object. Most (or all) of these were warning visions of a personal nature that I can’t share. I’m glad that God warned me because it was a situation that I was unaware of. He prepared me to cushion the shock.
I also had a prophetic dream on a regional scale that I may have mentioned before. I was shown a map and was told that there would be an earthquake in Fredericksburg, VA. (I didn’t see who was showing me the map.) I had the dream in January 2011. The earthquake occurred August 23, 2011. The epicenter was in Mineral, VA, a short distance from Fredericksburg.
Sometimes I see a sentence or letters or numbers just before I wake up. I would have more dreams if I got enough sleep . . . .
