The United States is now confirmed as a nation that supports abortion, homosexual marriage, a relationship with Islam, higher taxes, even higher debt, mandated government health care, porous borders. But beyond that, there is a certain undertone that our nation is not any longer Christian. How can the vast majority of Americans support those representing what YHVH calls abominations, and be Christian? Christians must come to the stark reality that they are now a decisive minority in a hostile land. Persecution is coming. We have seen the indicators on the horizon and now they have been emboldened by political wins and perhaps institutionalized.
The natural human in these kinds of situations tends to disengage. Our way of life rejected, we often appear wanting to crawl away and hide. I am reminded of the wonderful account of Elijah at Mt Carmel where the prophets of Baal were defeated in dramatic fashion. Then Jezabel vowed to kill Elijah. He ran away and wished he might die. There was a strong wind, an earthquake and a fire. But the Lord was not in them only “after the fire a still small voice.” You see, Elijah thought that after slaying the prophets of Baal and standing in the gap for Israel because the people had turned their backs on YHVH, that he was the only prophet of the one true God left. Queen Jezabel sought to kill him.
YHVH, however, in his still small voice, told him in 1 Kings 19:18, “Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.” YHVH had preserved a remnant true to him. While the so-called “church” in America is largely focused on self-indulgent extra-biblical nonsense that has little to do with the Word of YHVH, there is a remnant tucked away among the masses. This election is a clear sign to those who truly love YHVH and follow Him. We need to pray and act. Our actions must speak boldly as Paul writes in Ephesians 6:19, “that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.”
We are a nation divided. The majority of Americans believe that government is their salvation. The judgment to come, the difficult times ahead, will prove that government is not YHVH. While we as true believers are standing on the precipice of the end of the American dream, we must hold fast to the principal of our freedom: Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ). Galatians 5:1 says, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith the Messiah has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” We need revival. I am not talking about flashy gatherings in stadiums. I am talking about a revival of true Christianity in our hearts. It’s the type of revival when someone’s heart is shocked back to life.
We need to engage as the church in Acts engaged. If we do not, the Lord will continue sifting us until we do. The remnant needs to make itself known a heart at a time. There is a time for mourning. There is a time for reflection. There is a time for revival. There is a time to engage. 2 Timothy 1:7-8 says, “For YHVH has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of YHVH.” I am not going to bow my knee to Baal. I issue this challenge: Engage boldly, without compromise.

Don’t forget to add ‘a nation that now supports drugs’ to your list. Erg!! Legalizing marijuana in some states now! So Sad!
LOL Amen! We’ll email that to Bill Wilson!
We could probably add a whole bunch of stuff..idolatry (video games, movies, television shows, sex, lust, pornography, money, selfishness, adultery, addiction, etc)
Yes we could! 😦
Every day i’ve been seeing horrific news reports of children being literally murdered grotesquely and unimagineagly in the US, and throughout the world…more and more persecution of Christians as well… I just pray to the Lord, “Father, how long, O’ Lord, how long must the people suffer? How long must children suffer?” He has reminded me of the more wicked demonic spirits than ever before being released for this time…and so all we can do is suffer through it as we hear and see the news, and pray, pray, pray!
I’m so with you!!

I find everything you have expounded on here absolutely true. I would point out one thing though – racism is just as much a problem as the other issues addressed. And you a right to say that revival is coming. I have been saying this for a few years and I remain steadfast in knowing that there is a remnant and that we do not fight alone.
Revival is coming because too many are giving in to the whiles of the devil. Right has been called wrong and wrong is being promoted as wright. Revival is coming because there are many hurting and lost seeking the right way. Just because the ideological winds of change are blowing so as to discourage the righteous does not mean that God has forsaken us. To the contrary, I am convinced that just as God was with Abraham He will be with those of us that hold up the blood stained banner. Yes, revival is on the way.
Amen! If you find anything racist in this article…I did not notice anything myself..but I did not write this article. It was sent to me in prophecy news, and the author, Bill Wilson, gives me permission to republish. But yes, what is right is wrong, and what is wrong is right anymore. And those of us who have the blood of the lamb on our door posts will be under the protection of the Almighty God. We must be prepared. Thanks for the kind and encouraging words, btw. God bless you!
I have found nothing racist about the article. I think it is well written. I was merely pointing out that racism is among the issues that must be addressed in that this country is greatly divided by the sin of racism.

Oh. I misunderstood. Sorry. Yes…I have found racism among blacks to whites, whites to blacks, every nationality… Mexicans, Jews…everybody. It is a form of judging. We are all people…we should judge no one by their color or ethnicity.
We all began in the Garden of Eden. We are all created by the same God.
And thank you and God bless you as well.
You are welcome. Thank you again, and God bless you more! 😉 Thanks for all you do for our heavenly Father!
