Mark 11:22-24
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Wonderful post!
Thank and you and God bless you dear one!
Thank you for sharing this post, it is the only one today I could share a comment on that wouldn’t be offensive to you and your friends. Posts of the love of our Lord sharing acceptance and being non judgmental are the ones I choose to embrace.
That’s wonderful! God bless you. We all have our various callings. Mine is to preach repentance and Bible prophecy. As we look at the Bible as a whole living being, it consists of God’s judgment, God’s wrath, and His love. The people who do not know the Lord, and those who are living in unrepentance must know the truth of God’s Word so that they will repent and surrender to Jesus. Unfortuntately, the Bible is not entirely filled with the sugary sweet candy coated messages. It wreaks of God’s wrath and anger toward sin
If we as Christians do not share this message along with the love, we will answer to God when kneel before Him. It is our responsibility. And, when God places a specific call upon our lives, we must answer His call and obey Him.
I would encourage you to remember the story of Jonah. God called Him to warn of His judgment on the people of Ninevah for their sin and their heathenistic lifestyles. Jonah ran from God, which made God very angry so that Jonah actually died and wound up in the belly of a whale. Finally, Jonah went and gave the message to the people…and they repented!
We are living in the days of God’s judgment my friend. Let me give you an example. If the weather forecasters did not tell the people the hurricane was coming…gave them no warning whatsoever…the people could not have prepared..and many more lives would have been lost…countless lives indeed! Then, you would be angry saying, “Why did they not tell the people the hurricane was coming? The people could have prepared! They could have saved their families! They could have escaped!”
If I do not tell the people the storm is coming, and very soon…then many more lives than what will be would be lost eternally to hell. Hell is an unpleasant thing to ponder, and none of us like it..but it is our responsibility to share the truth. I am not an ear tickler or a people-pleaser..I am a God pleaser. I do what God tells me to do. I would rather you be angry than kneel before God and answer to Him for having not done as He has commanded me to do.
The messenger is not always loved and adored, sad to say. It is the Lord who gives these messages to the people…and I am no more than his servant delivering the messages. So to say something negative about the work the Lord is doing is to stand in opposition of Him..not me. I am merely the waitress delivering the food prepared by the chef.
With that being said, I am happy you did not say something mean..as I’ve done nothing worthy of such treatment but share the things God desires for me to share.
Furthermore, copying and pasting prophecy news and the truth from God’s Word is not judging other people. Judging other people is placing an opinion upon them without knowing them. The Word of God in itself judges..I am not the judge, nor do I need to judge.
JUDGING, To form an opinion or estimation of after careful consideration: judge heights; judging character. 2. a. Law To hear and decide on in a court of law; try: judge
If I see a man walking down the street wearing black and I say, “Look! He’s going to rob someone’s house because he is wearing black!” That is a judgment.
If I see a man breaking in to someone’s house and I approach him and say, “If you steal from these people, you will get caught and go to jail!” That is not a judgment. That is seeing someone doing something they are going to suffer for, and trying to warn them in advance of what will happen.
I think many people should look up the word JUDGMENT or JUDGE in the dictionary, as I have found many people on the net using this word quite inappropriately and out of context.
Thanks! 😉
I am a child of light and love as are you and all human beings as well as all of Gods Creations. It is amazing as I observe various religions and faiths in the Christian world how it seems that word of our Lord is lost. He as you yourself posted came to this Earth to live and die becoming the End. The Lord as I know never preached fire and brimstone, he in fact preached love and acceptance. The only time that I am aware of his anger was at the priests in the temple of the Jews when he overturned their tables and told them to correct their wicked ways. He never that I am aware of preached the written words of the Torah or the Old Testament which is why the Priests despised him and in fact the reason and the Justification for his death as far as the story that I read. His coming was a death of the old and a new beginning for mankind. A way of love and acceptance. I believe that his message was not to fear but to Love God. I am embraced by and embrace the love of our Lord encouragement and example are his way. My darkness lead me to My Lord, his unconditional love is that of Gods yes the Bible is not Sugar coated in its teachings. The testament of Jesus Christ Is sugar Coated with a message of love. The golden Rule and for me the Lords Prayer the only prayer our Lord asks us to pray. He knows our hearts, share your message as the Lord inspires you. This sinner chooses to take that path of Love and light as he feels inspired by the Lord and will stick to the path of love and sharing the love he shares with me. He never made me feel guilt or shame as I shared my sins with him that was on me and lead to my repentance and the ultimate love of his mercy and forgiveness. I would not ever say anything mean nor do I judge your way of sharing his message. I can only share the love he has shared with me and it wasn’t fire or brimstone. Thank you for the Work you do for our Lord his love flows through your Heart and Soul lighting the way for many.
I am no religion. I am a believer in Jesus. Jesus is God in the flesh. You can see His anger in the Old Testament many times. I’m just speaking truth here..there are good things, and there are messages of warning. Love involves correction. God is love. Do parents correct their children because they hate them? Certainly not. God corrects His children, and He brings those to repentance through correction, which isn’t always pleasant. What I am saying is very biblical, and I would encourage you to study throughout the Bible…from Old to new, not leaving out any part of it.
The Old Testament and the New Testament make the entire Bible… The Old shows us the God who does not tolerate sin…the God of wrath… the New Testament shows us the God of love and compassion..they are ALL God. Regardless, I judge no one because this is not my place..God is the judge. His Word judges..not me. However, His Word will be preached here as it is. I am, as I said, not a people pleaser. If the truth does offend you, I apologize, but I will not disobey God’s call on my life. You see, I must answer to Him for ALL that I do.
To lie to people and live in fairy tale land is to hate people and to allow Satan to lead them to hell along with them. You said you believe God is a God of love..yes? Would God not desire to save His children from the enemy? If He is love…He doesn’t want the enemy leading people to the path to hell..and so you see, there are those of us who are required and under oath to God to tell those people the truth. It is ultimately up to those people..but they must be told because God is a fair God.
Have you read the book of Revelation???? This is the day that we are in!
Have you read this verse: Rev 3:15,16 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
I don’t know about you..but I will not be lukewarm. I certainly do not wish to be vomited from God’s mouth.
Do you believe the Bible is truth? God’s Word? Have you read the entire Bible? It is filled with war, death, love, passion, truth, sin, the outcome of sin, God’s wrath, God’s judgment, God’s anger and hatred for sin, prophecy, all of it.
So you would prefer to ignore everything in the Bible that doesn’t sound happy, right? I can’t do that. That is deceptive and false doctrine. That is not what God tells me to do.
How would you feel if you knew positively God has told me to do as I am doing… and you were opposing His will?
I believe the Bible is written by men, I do believe that the words where inspired by God. The bible as we know it was old scriptures and was edited and written by men the men that set the Rules for the Catholic faith. When a common man was inspired to translate the Bible to English he was Burned and his translated works where stolen and adapted by King James through the works of even more Priests of the Catholic Faith. There is much good written in the Bible as there is in the Koran, The Torah, the Tao te ching and many other great works all writen by men inspired by God. I have read much of the Bible and the New Testament is the Testament of Christ again written by men inspired by God. I am not offended and hope I offend you not. Have you ver read the Koran? Or the Tao te ching? The lord most definatly discourages tunnel vision. I leave this here and will continue to read your works. I feel the divine in them yet not all of the words or thoughts shared resonate in my heart. As far as parents reprimanding their children and punishing them well That is an outdated way as well is it not better to teach them through open honest communication allowing for the input of the child and building a sense of nurturing trusting love than have them fear you? When a child is in fear the one they should be able to trust and help them with their fears is their parents. when they fear you its like throwing gas on the fire causing them to lose trust and love for the ones that matter the most to them. I fear not the words of the bible and fire and brimstone of the old I embrace with love the New. Trust and love bring faith.
The fear spoken of in the Bible is respect. And yes, I want my children to respect me. We are to have a godly fear of God. I believe the Bible is the authoritave word of God written through people. I do not question its authority, or God. Look. This is what God has called me to do. i am truly sorry if you disagree, but I will go forth with what God has told me to do, and I will not disobey Him. I encourage you to speak to Him about it. Like I said earlier, I am the messenger…I deliver what He tells me to deliver. This is His site. I work for Him. Please, take it up with Him. No hard feelings…there will be people who do not understand.
Isaiah 55:8, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
I did not force you to come here. No one is forced to come here or to subscribe. To try and save someone from eternal death is to be their friend and to love them. To watch someone slowly kill themselves and say that you are their friend is cruel and hateful. Again, if the truth offends, then you may turn and walk away from it. I will not walk away from truth. When the Jesus I serve died for me, it wasn’t pretty. He bled profusely and He suffered. I will stand on the truth of God’s Word, revealing both the lovely things and the ugliness of sin and corruption. I will not be like Ephraim..cooked on one side and raw on the other…. Lukewarm.
If you want to be this way, that is up to you. This will be between you and the Father someday….someday very soon. I can find hundreds of passages to back up my work here….the Word ‘fear God’ is all throughout the Bible. I will be responsible for my doings…but I will not be puked out of His mouth..that is for sure.
God bless you.
The meek shall inherit the Earth.
You don’t know your Bible very well, sir, if you claim Jesus never quoted from the Old Testament. In fact, Jesus quoted from 24 of the Old Testament books, the most from the book of Deuteronomy. Before you start making brash statements about your knowledge of the Bible, don’t you think it would be a good idea to get your facts straight?
Again, sir, you miss the entire blessing of the Lord’s prayer. Jesus did not teach his disciples to pray the Lord’s prayer. The Scripture says, ““This, then, is how you should pray: HOW you should pray. Not WHAT you should pray. Jesus was teaching a pattern for prayer. Not teaching a prayer to pray. Although praying the Lord’s prayer is certainly acceptable. But many people who call themselves “Christians” do not understand what they’re praying when they pray the Lord’s prayer. So, again, sir, you might want to check out your facts before you go espousing things that are amiss from what Scripture teaches.
I never once claimed to be a Biblical scholar. And I do not teach scripture. I am happy that you choose to speak for the Lord. What a powerful feeling you must have. I also never claimed to be a Christian! I do choose to follow the way of Jesus and wish to share a story from your own Bible. Jesus and his disciples were passing through a town where they were not really welcome. Two of his disciples wanted to destroy the town and its inhabitants by calling down the wrath of God upon it. Jesus looked at them and shook his head. What my friend did he do next? If our Lord was a God of war why did he die on the cross instead of destroying his enemies? Reading your book and Understanding what you read are two different things.
One other thought on the Lords Prayer… Does it not say at the end of his lesson. God knows your heart? Why do you pray for something other than thanks and forgiveness when God knows your heart and what you need?
And I am not mad at you…I am just trying to explain this to you. This site will continue to claim truth. If you call it fire and brimstone, this is fine. I call it Truth. This site also reflects much of God’s love as you see it…but like I said, the Bible isn’t this sugary candy coated book I think that you think it is. And Jesus wasn’t the woodstock hippie make love not war Jesus either. Like I said, Jesus is God in the flesh, to say you’ve only seen Him angry once is to forget the entire Old Testament…and the Book of Revelation. Jesus comes back on a white horse with fire spewing from His mouth…a sword of fire..and with it those who belong to Satan are killed..instantly. No sugar coated woodstock hippie Jesus there… He comes back as a warrior… “Our God is a man of war!”
Exodus 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Isaiah 66:16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Revelation 19:11-21 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Now that’s all from the Bible. Is it wrong for me to put this here, in your opinion, because it doesn’t sound inviting and flowery?
This is a beautiful testimony to God’s power in our lives. I chose part of this passage to use in a devotional I am writing for my pastor. Thank you for sharing. God bless.
You’re welcome, Steve! I am glad you liked it! God bless you!
May God richly bless you
