Yes…We Are Born Free! And, let us not forget for this election year, as there is more and more political and world bondage…as a nation, we were established on God and freedom! But praise God, no matter what the world does, no matter what this nation does, I am free through the blood of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior! I do not have to worry about who is elected, and who is not elected! Why worry? God is in control! After all, He is God! No matter what happens, for those of us who truly know Jesus Christ and have Him in our heart, as long as we are in this body of flesh, we are in bondage. But when we walk in the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, it does not matter what binds us in the flesh because we are ALWAYS COMPLETELY FREE IN JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD! AMEN? AMEN!

When David Trusted In the Power of Man Instead of the Power of God…

I had a beautiful dream Saturday night about being “born to be free” in the dream I was stepping out of a shower of water and supernaturally a towel appeared and wrapped itself around me and as it did butterflies were coming out of it and flying all around me. I then awoke at that moment actually speaking outloud “butterflies were born to be free” and then the Holy Spirit was speaking to me about how we are like the butterflies, the water represented Jesus’ blood, the baptism in water and the Holy Spirit, we are cleansed from our sins and then we are FREE, the way we were originally meant to be “Born to be FREE” I woke up smiling, this was so beautiful. Just thought I’d share this with you. Hope it blesses you and others who will read it. I write too, but on a much smaller scale than you have. Mostly poetry, but I have a small book in the works.
Thanks for sharing Victoria! God bless you! Share your wisdom, your dreams, etc. any time! I did not have a dream, but the Lord spoke to me this morning. A little over a week ago, after I droppped my kids off at school I turned down this street by the school I take to get home. It’s a residential street, but everyone goes up and down that street on the school mornings. A man pulled out of his driveway and backed into me. Damage wasn’t that bad, but it was all a pain in the you know what! LOL Anyhow, since then, I’ve been going down a street that is one street up from the street where the accident happened. There’s never any traffic on it at all, no people, nothing. It’s just a little bit out of the way of my house, as the other one is closer, and it has a sharp curve in it, which isn’t as easy as the other one that has a slight curve. The Lord spoke to me today and said, “See, on this street you have no problems. You don’t have to weave around cars, worry about people on the path, no accidents, or anything. You have no problems on this road; it may be just a ‘little’ out of your way, but it is the road less traveled, and a better road to take you home.”
What I got out of that was the road less traveled, ‘his road..not living like the world’ is a road less traveled, and while it may oftentimes be a little more inconvenient, it is the safer route. It’s not the easiest of the two roads on the surface, but in actuality, in the long run, it is the smoothest. The life in Christ…the road less traveled…not the ‘norm’ and not the most convenient, yet the safest.
