The Tribulation?

I am posting this video because I watched it, and I would like your feedback on it.  As we know, there are so many things taking place this year prophetically, it’s hard to keep up.  This post is for conversation and feedback, not because I necessarily side with this opinion, but because I’m always interested in things to do with Bible prophecy and love to hear other people’s ideas and thoughts about it.  I have, in fact, been intrigued by it since I was a child.  Please watch this video and share your thoughts.  To me, the  most profound thing in it was mid-way through, the red horse that literally emerges from the sun!

  1. (This article reveals some research that is No. 1 on the “hate list” of many “fundy” Christians because it shows that their idolized “rapture” belief – the inspiration behind Lindsey’s and LaHaye’s all-time bestsellers – is only a 19th century invention and that credit long given to John Darby for it should go to a long unknown 15-year-old girl in Scotland!)

    Margaret Macdonald’s Rapture Chart !

    “church” RAPTURE “church”
    (present age) (tribulation)

In early 1830 Margaret was the very first one to see a pre-Antichrist (pretribulation) rapture in the Bible – and John Walvoord and Hal Lindsey lend support for this claim!
Walvoord’s “Rapture Question” (1979) says her view resembles the “partial-rapture view” and Lindsey’s “The Rapture” (1983) admits that “she definitely teaches a partial rapture.”
But there’s more. Lindsey (p. 26) says that partial rapturists see only “spiritual” Christians in the rapture and “unspiritual” ones left behind to endure Antichrist’s trial. And Walvoord (p. 97) calls partial rapturists “pretribulationists”!
Margaret’s pretrib view was a partial rapture form of it since only those “filled with the Spirit” would be raptured before the revealing of the Antichrist. A few critics, who’ve been repeating more than researching, have noted “Church” in the tribulation section of her account. Since they haven’t known that all partial rapturists see “Church” on earth after their pretrib rapture (see the “church-splitting” chart above), they’ve wrongly assumed that Margaret was a posttrib!
In Sep. 1830 Edward Irving’s journal “The Morning Watch” (hereafter: TMW) was the first to publicly reflect her novel view when it saw spiritual “Philadelphia” raptured before “the great tribulation” and unspiritual “Laodicea” left on earth.
In Dec. 1830 John Darby (the so-called “father of dispensationalism” even though he wasn’t first on any crucial aspect of it!) was still defending the historic posttrib rapture view in the “Christian Herald.”
Pretrib didn’t spring from a “church/Israel” dichotomy, as many have assumed, but sprang from a “church/church” one, as we’ve seen, and was based only on symbols!
But innate anti-Jewishness soon appeared. (As noted, TMW in Sep. 1830 saw only less worthy church members left behind.) In Sep. 1832 TMW said that less worthy church members and “Jews” would be left behind. But by Mar. 1833 TMW was sure that only “Jews” would face the Antichrist!
As late as 1837 the non-dichotomous Darby saw the church “going in with Him to the marriage, to wit, with Jerusalem and the Jews.” And he didn’t clearly teach pretrib until 1839. His basis then was the Rev. 12:5 “man child…caught up” symbol he’d “borrowed” (without giving credit) from Irving who had been the first to use it for the same purpose in 1831!
For related articles Google “X-Raying Margaret,” “Edward Irving is Unnerving,” “Pretrib Rapture’s Missing Lines,” “The Unoriginal John Darby,” “Open Letter to Todd Strandberg,” “Deceiving and Being Deceived” by D.M., “Pretrib Rapture Pride,” “Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty” and “Scholars Weigh My Research.” The most documented and accurate book on pretrib rapture history is “The Rapture Plot” (see Armageddon Books online) – a 300-pager that has hundreds of disarming facts (like the ones above) not found in any other source.

[Hi Lyn. Just came upon your good blog. Above is what I recently saw on the exciting web.]

  2. I watched the video sis! While I found it interesting… here is where I stand and what I believe.
    1) It should not matter to us, as God’s children whether or not we are or aren’t in the tribulation. What should matter is that we use our days reaching others with the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ’s shed blood.
    2) There is much in all Scripture, old and new testament that warns us about what the world will be like near the “end of days”. Much like it was in the time of Noah. We DO need to be aware of “war on the spiritual fronts”, deceivers, false prophets, etc.
    3) It doesn’t matter to me where we are in God’s timeline. We should live each day as though tomorrow was the End! If we (in the US) suffer during a tribulation period, so what— haven’t our brethren from 2000 years ago until today done so in many parts of the world.
    4) Finally… I used to be pre-trib rapture, then mid… and post. I co-authored 6 books between 1993-1997 about everything that is happening in the world today. New World Order, Global Economic, etc ect– but no one would dare publish them, they said it was “conspiracy theory”.

I have my spiritual armor in place, my soul is resting at peace with God and I hope for a soon return of our Savior. Whenever that happens… we should forever be ready! Readying ourselves for our King…

Many blessings and love in Jesus!
    Stephanie

    • GOd bless you sister! I appreciate your comments, and I agree with you. The only thing, though, is while we should not be concerned, we need to be prepared. If we are going to go through any part of the tribulation..we can’t sit around making no provisions at all. My concern is that those who believe in pre trib, if it ends up being mid trib instead, will have nothing stored up because they thought they were going to be rescued. Then, they will become desperate and will be heavily tempted to take the mark becuase they or their loved ones are sick and they will need medical care, food, heat, etc. See what I mean? I’m not worried about my soul or spirit..I am concerned many believers will make the big mistake and take the mark IF it’s mid trib because they are not prepared…and again..I say IF. I think we should all be prepared in a physical sense as well so thereis no temptation to take the mark for those who are weak. Even the strongest would experience weakness to see their child dying, starving, etc.

      • I agree to an extant. You see I am a homebound, disabled (multiple conditions–12 medications a day) grandmother of 15. I am completely supported by my Social Security and other programs for old folks like myself—but (and this is just me) I wouldn’t take the mark~! I would much rather stand on the promises of my Lord and God.
There are a lot of weaker believers who may, should it be mid-trib, but I believe Lyn that having provision means “spiritually”. Therefore, I believe it will do no good to have a garage full of water, a barn filled with canned food or a storage locker full of medicine when the Beast is put into place. Our prayer today must be for the weak ones…that their strength come from the Father.
Hope that makes sense to you.
        Love you in Him
        Stephanie

        • Then we do agree. You may’ve missed part of what I said, but I said “the ones who are weak” (just as you mentioned in your note here) and only said about the ones like you and I, and many of our brothers and sisters here, that some MIGHT be tempted, no matter how strong..for example, if they have chldren… that was what I said. So, we do actually fully agree.

          • YES we do! I praise God for you sister!
            Stephanie

          • 😉 I can tell you one thing..whether mid trib (who believe the seals began being opened back in 2009-2010(varied opinions on that exact year)) or pre (who believe they are about to be opened), both are expecting the return of Christ at any time.Me personally, if you carefully examine Revelation..the opening of the seals are NOT judgments. Even most Bible scholars anymore who study prophecy agree on that..they are the opening of the seals..the worlds own hell coming down on them. The finaly seal, the earthquake, is the only one that ‘might’ be a judgment because it is an earthquake, and throughout the Bible, earthquakes are used by God as judgment. God bless you and you’re precious to me as well, Stephanie. I did not know you were handicapped…but I will pray always for God to bless you ten fold each and every day and send people to help you when you have a need, and to give you supernatural help as well! God bless ! ♥♥♥

          • Yes I completely agree with you. It wasn’t until very recently the Lord impressed upon me to read the Book of Revelation and I have done so.
I do not understand some of the imagery, but this one thing I know— as for me, I am preparing myself for our King, Prince and Bridegroom.
Thank you for your prayers and Our Beloved Holy Father is continually caring for me.
God be with you Lyn! May He continue to send you out among the “blog world” for the Kingdom!
            Stephanie

          • God bless you Stephanie and thank you so much dear sister. Same to you!!!! You too are a blessing in the blogger world! Keep up the wonderful work for the Lord!

  3. This all confuses me so. I was always taught from a young age, that we would be raptured before the tribulation – and I have to say that comforts me 🙂 – but my previous pastor believed that there will be no rapture as such. That we would be caught up with Him at His 2nd coming. Which seems to mean that we will experience some kind of tribulation. It definitely seems as if it’s getting worse & worse here on earth & I’m becoming more aware of deadly persecution of believers in other countries. And it seems that we are in the beginning stages of persecution here in the US. I’ve been feeling an urgency to memorize more Scripture…could it be because we’ll need it more in our hearts because we won’t have the access to physical Bibles that we’re accustomed to? My concern is for my family members who either aren’t believers or are at least not walking in faith right now. My hope & prayer is that they have TIME before it’s too late.

    • I’m hearing you Chrystal..believe me. I would suggest you read the book by John Shorey, the Window of the Lord’s Return at http://TribulationTruth.com Thta book makes more sense than anything I have ever heard or read. From my studies, I can tell you assuredly that we will NOT go through the entire tribulation. The Bible does say we will be caught up in the clouds. The confusion is about whether it is pre or mid trib. I must say that both arguments have excellent points. We are to study to show ourselves approved…and if we don’t research both sides and brush it off as ‘false doctrine’ then we are not obeying God’s command to know His Word. I have found nothing unbiblical about the Mid Tribulation theory. We must cover all bases. It would be just like the enemy to make everyone believe in a pre trib rapture..and then here’s what happens..perfect set up. God’s children have no provisions and many will end up out of desperation taking t he mark. They will lose faith because they believed in pre trib and will believe it was all a lie. They will see their children starving or sick, and won’t be able to get them medical care. How torturous would it be to watch your child die when all you have to do is get a chip and they can live? See what I mean? This will be very tempting..because..people will be unprepared because they believed in the get out of jail free card. Again, I do not believe in post trib… however, between pre and mid, I have heard all sides very well…I am confused. I would love it if someone would read John’s book and then give me some feedback. It wasn’t expensive at all. If you were around me, I’d loan it to you! LOL Could you get it, read it, and give me your feedback? God bless you!

    • Chrystal… I’m with you on that. There are far too many lost souls and those who’ve strayed. That too is my chief concern.
      Stephanie

      • Amen! I just said that in regard to all of the political arguing going on everywhere on the blogs. We’re to focus on bringing the lost souls to the cross..bringing those in unrepentance to repentance. God bless you sister! I just posted my concerns about this whole trib thing that I have to you. You should get it soon.

    • I don’t believe there will ever be a lack of Bibles, or that they will be outlawed in the USA (even though other countries have outlawed them). For instance, Russia and even Cuba have basically outlawed public display of Christian beliefs, so believers still have to worship out of public view. But for sure, there will be a lack of actually hearing or reading the Word in the near future. I am not sure if it will be on a worldly scale though.

  4. And the other scripture which really stands out for me is in Matthew 24:13 when JESUS says, but he who holds stands firm to the end will be saved…Isn’t this out context if the church wasn’t going to go through the tribulations? Maybe we all must go through the tribulations but the church is protected from God’s Wrath? Just wondering what ya’ll think….many, many blessings to you…Robin

  5. Hi Lyn, the times we are in right now are the precursor to the tribulation which is near. Obama is NOT the antichrist but it is my opinion that is he being used to usher this demonic “man of peace” in I truly believe ( my opinion ) that the anti-christ is alive and getting ready to fool the masses. We don’t know the day or hour but Jesus told us what to watch for because we are to know the timing of his coming! He gave us much to watch for. So far, it is all coming to pass! Our time is getting near.

Remember, during the seven year tribualtion, the first 3 1/2 years will bring peace. It is only after that we there will be havoc upon this world as the beast demands that all must worship him and wear his mark. Those who are saved during this time will have to go through much torment and most will die by the sword. The tribulation period is God’s time to bring his remnant of Israel to salvation!

I believe in pre-trib rapture. I have read commentaries on pre-mid and post trib rapture but I believe that Luke Chapter 17 gives us the answer. Starting in Verse 20, Jesus talks about the coming of his Kingdom. He says:, “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying… UNTIL THE DAY when Noah entered the Ark and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot – they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, BUT ON THE DAY WHEN LOT WENT OUT FROM SODOM, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all – so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.” Jesus then goes on to say that there will be two in bed and one will be taken; there will be two women grinding together and one will be taken and other left…… When Lot was taken from Sodom and Gomorroh, God detroyed those cities and he destroyed those in the world AFTER Noah entered the Ark.

I don’t argue on this point because it does not affect your salvation either way on this tribulation matter. The bible tells us all that we should expect in ending days just before Jesus takes his church and the Tribulation begins. All the weather changes, the wars and famines, the floods, the INCREASE IN EVIL. And also that there will be a huge spirit if deceptionon this earth blinding most people – even the elect if that were possible – during this time. THAT IS WHERE WE ARE NOW!

One needs only to keep their eyes on Israel to understand how close we are.. We all know that God is not about to let Israel be destroyed. He will step in to prevent them from annihilation. However, until we believers are taken up, we will and are suffering the effects of evil in this world. We are suffering finanically, with persecution, and with the consequence of sin running rampant in this world as self-centered people declare darkness to be light and evil to be good. The prophet Daniel saw a vision of the end times and it said that the time came when, “truth would be thrown to the ground”. Daniel saw a lot more but was not permiited to speak of it. It was so horrific that he took to his bed! I believe that he saw the times we are in. Welcome to Daniel’s vision!

Believers have nothing to fear. God has the plan. The only thing I ask the others is are you ready to meet your God?

    • Thanks so much Marianne for leaving a comment on this. Always enjoy your posts as well as your comments. God bless you for all of your input here!

I am confused on one point, though. If the first half of the tribulation is the opening of the seals (part of the first half) the how could their be peace during the first half? That point has always confused me (off the subject of pretrib and midtrib here..).

  6. There are earthquakes everywhere..every day…notable earthquakes..volcanoes..strange weather..diseases..killer diseases..our food is poisoned by GMO’s, they are trying to add more fluoride to our drinking water in toxic amounts, Islam, Israel, war and rumors of wars, disobedience, rebellion, disrespect..I could go on and on…the signs are here! It’s all here…and they fit perfectly with the opening of the seals. It is so amazing to live in this day and see these things… it’s also, at the same time, terrible and frightening..yet, how many people for thousands of years longed to live to see this day, and we get to see it?

  7. I am impressed. Well thought out; they did their homework. It may not be just a fluke that they caught that image coming out of that solar flare. The problem we humans seem to have is our tendency to put God in a box and try to force him to move and act in ways that we seem fit.
I had never seen the images of blood red waters. I have seen images of dead animals before and they may have been caused by the Haarp project. That in itself is evil and very real. I also suspect it will play into the deception of man at the end.

Matthew 24:21 is where Jesus made his statement about “great tribulation”.
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”
The other reference comes from Revelation 7:14 “And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

Take note: Even though I am using the KJV if you look in the Greek you will not find the word “the”. That simple word added in makes it a specific time period, and so doing I believe that we, once again, put God in a box. It is merely a time in which the tribulation will become greater.

I am not a scholar, merely a man that looks at things through the eyes of common sense and Godly wisdom. But I will add this in, and you can throw me out if you wish. God called me to be a prophet when I was 25. I am now almost 60. I believe that my time is now, and I have never seen so clearly as I see now. I have desired to understand this book of Revelation and behold, it is laid out before me on the daily news.

One of the things that shaken me severely is the attitude that a “Christian” brother took as I tried to talk with him about such things. He harshly rebutted my bible backed statements with, “this is not judgment or wrath we are seeing in Revelation but merely the trumpets and seals. And “the Great Tribulation” does not occur until the midway point of the seven-year period.”

There is no doubt that when the false prophet shows up that he will unleash a sword upon the “Saints”. If you understand Islamic prophecies this makes all the sense in the world. They happen to call this false prophet of Revelation Jesus Christ, along with several other Arabic names.

If what we are looking for is great tribulation then certainly our brothers and sisters in Christ, in Egypt, Sudan, Nigeria, Chad, Syria, Libya, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Turkey…. (Shall I go on?) are experiencing great tribulation even now. How much greater does it need to get when they have killed you for your faith? Not much. The time we all seem to speak of will be a time of escalation in which the beheadings will be uncountable. How would I know this? John saw the martyred twice. Though the first number was incredibly great and relatively uncountable, it was still countable. The second look was uncountable. A graphic example of escalation.

You stated that your view point is pre-tribulation, and I think you would be sound to maintain it and here is why. Jesus as recorded in Matthew 25 and Luke’s gospel in chapter 17 show us that it is God’s intent to rescue the righteous from the wrath that is coming. In both cases the wrath fell quickly after they were removed from harms way. That is one of the reasons that all these things must fall quickly into place, according to God’s plan, so that within minutes of us pulling out of here, all hell breaks loose.

Now this should cause you some grief for Matthew 25 also speaks of 50 percent that think they are going to the same wedding and do not have enough oil, and they may have run out already.
So many people are going to have to prove their faith in the living God at the edge of the sword. I do not believe that any will be able to hide from this process.
    Again I refer to scripture:
Revelation 6:9-10 KJV And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: (10) And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
    The answer they received was:
Revelation 6:11 KJV And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

I suspect we are already there. The end has begun and we mere minutes away from being caught up. This is the most exciting time for the believer that is watching, waiting, and praying.
Question? If I am wrong, and I could be, what will we do? Live like he is coming tomorrow and be bold about it. Continue to do what is right and necessary. Pay your bills and do not be foolish. Pay your tithes, and be as generous as you possibly can. And do not try to store up treasures here on earth.

Sis, you have a heart of gold and I can see your desire to understand.

Father, I ask that you continue to reveal yourself to Lyn and to those who will read her words. Open her mouth to speak boldly in Jesus name and cause the life of Jesus Christ to come alive inside of people. Cause your word to be spread and allow it go into places she and I cannot go. Father, I see dark days coming and even in this nation they will come and arrest many for speaking out in the name of Jesus. I ask Father that the Holy Spirit become so strong inside of these people that they like Stephen shine like angel faces before their interrogators. May their witness of Jesus Christ cause many more to come toward your mercy Father. I ask this in Jesus name.

    • I’m not looking to ‘throw you out’ because you did as I asked people to do here tonight…know this! Thanks for your kind words, by the way. It sounds like you believe in pre trib, but that you believe we are in the beginning of the tribulation. My take, either way,is that we don’t really know the ‘exact’ time frame to the date. Maybe we are to be in the beginning of the tribulation before the rapture…

Question..you believe in pretrib as I took you.. are you saying you believe that half of the people, before the rapture, approximately, will be be headed? There was a lot there to read…I’m sorry! 😉 And, for the record, I am not challenging you as some do..I am truly asking.

So, where do you feel where are at right now…at what point? Some believe we are soon to enter the tribulation (understanding, the “great” tribulation is the last three and a half years..the trib is the first half.); some believe we are in the first two years of the tribulation…

Maybe we’re all right, in a sense. For those of us who are pretrib, the rapture is about to happen..but maybe we’re further along in the process and don’t realize it. And then for mid trib, we’re right there..we’re at the door…we’re at that point. Is it possible, as in times past, some of the scholars could be ‘slightly’ off on a few things? It’s happened before. They were wrong on the mark of the beast, they were wrong on the left leg of the statue in Daniel, they were wrong on the ten horns… could it be?

These are just questions I am throwing out there. I’m fishing. I’m not implying what I believe or do not believe. What I am desiring is a real conversation here for all of us because quite honestly, there are so many different viewpoints floating around in cyberspace! And I have read John Shorey’s book “The Window of the Lord’s Return.” http://tribulationtruth.com Anyone who has not read it, if you are certain in your tribulation stance, you need to read it. So, there are a lot of opinions, concerns, uncertainty about this. I feel maybe if we all talk about it, we can clear a lot of these things up in our own minds.

I know for sure I am saved. I know God loves me and I love Him. This is most important. I know the hour spoken of for many generations has come upon us. The Lord told me as a child that I would indeed see this day. It is here. I am not afraid, but if any of us say we have ‘no’ concern over what is coming for our loved ones and people in general, we would be lying. I am concerned and a little worried. I am not afraid concerneing my salvation, but normal things. I hope I’m making sense. I just think this is good for us all to post what we think and what we’re sensing.

  8. Oh and if you want to see what I look like…check out the link below…I’m singing a song I wrote, no music just me….http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSwFwuW-3XY&feature=plcp

  9. This is extremely interesting and something which caught my attention was, have you dreamed of the horses? I already dreamed of the black horse which I posted under my dream section and I also dreamed of the 4th seal the pale horse…I didn’t post that particular dream but it was an eye opener….My personal opinion is Christians will go through the tribulations at least those who must be refned…..Thanks for this post Lyn…Many, many blessings to you…Robin

    • My friend in Florida,Cindy, revealed to me that people she knows all over the world who do not know each other have come to her about visions and dreams of horses.. but they were pale horses…not good. I’m wondering if we’re already in the first part. I don’t believe Christians will go through the entire tribulation, but I could lean toward saying they might gothrough the first half. I guess we’ll all find out soon enough. Won’t we? God bless you too Robin! By the way, saw your video! You’re very pretty and you have a beautiful voice! I had to keep it low because it is late here and everyone is in bed..but I will listen to it better tomorrow.

      • After you listen to it, just delete the link…LOL…at one time I thought I knew about the tribulations, but maybe this is meant for those who must be refined…I’m not sure anymore…It can be confusing…I think partly because the Bible isn’t using the correct language…plus I don’t think I trust all of the greek intepretation on the NT. I believe they will find older scrolls written in Hebrew, that is, if the Vatican doesn’t already have them….Many, many blessings to you….

      • Oh and I was told by a large man dressed in white during a dream there was an outbreak. He was extremely weary of me and his eyes never left…I believe the 4th seal has been opened and we are entering the 5th….martydom of christians which are taking place all over the world….

        • Yep. My mother pointed out something interesting in the book of Revelation I never had thought of. Many of the the things that happen ‘happen’ over in Israel and the MIddle East..and Africa.. We have to pay attention..when it says the ‘whole world’ or the ‘world’ then it is everywhere. I did not ever realize that. We must be aware, though, that the seals are not judgments…many people mistakingly interpret it that way…the judgments happen after the seals.

          • She’s definitely correct! Like you I’m also striving to fully comprehend the tribulation issue. Many feel the book of revelations is in sections. The only thing I questions is, if the Church was going to be taken before the tribulations, why wouldn’t Jesus and the apostles just say so? Why wouldn’t they say since you believe, you have no need to worry because when the end comes you will be safely lifted up?

I do believe there will be those who will escape the tribulations, but I also believe there will be those who must be refined. How is one refined? By going through tribulations…But I’m no scholar! I just haven’t read anything where Jesus said to his People, are the apostles, the church will escape the tribulation. The Bible speaks of those who believe but must be refined…Also, Marianne brought up a really good point about deception. What better way for Satan to deceive than have “the church” believe they will NOT go through tribulations? Just my thoughts…Like all I don’t want to argue, just to understand…..Hope everyone is safe from Hurricane Sandy or any bad weather headed North…many, many blessings to you….Robin

    • No..but did you see my post on what I saw in the sky this passed summer? Here’s the link https://lynleahz.com/2012/06/24/awesome-sign-in-the-sky/

  10. Where does the Word mention that Christians will not live through the Tribulation? I think that it has begun, but that God’s mercy is still on us and so we haven’t seen the full effect of it. If the disciples and many others witnessed first hand the harsh persecution against them, what right do we have to think that we will escape persecution? Unless of course, we know in our hearts that we are not born again?
There are definately signs of things to come, but are those signs stating that the last days are here already?

    • Amen Eddy! Here’s something interesting emailed to me: Not sure, but it is quite possibly true. Some people believe that most of the prophecies in Revelation pertain mainly to Israel & the Middle Eastern nations. The catch is the scriptures that refer to the “world.” If we are already into it, then 2012 would probably be the second year of the seven years. That would put a mid-trib. rapture next year sometime, probably at the Feast of Trumpets or Tabernacles. I think we are very close to the rapture & His return….there is no time to spare. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if our wonderful (sick pun) president declares martial law, either just before the elections, or if he wins re-election, immediately following it.

      • That brings up another question: is “the rapture” what we think it is, or is it something different? A lot of Christians believe that we will not endure persecution, though Christ said we will, then we will not go through the Trib, though the Bible says we will. So is “the rapture” something that we will go through on a spiritual level, or something that we will go through on physical level? I’m sort of a realist when it comes to God, so the whole “name it claim it” thing concerning many things we have been taught just doesn’t fit it with my spirit. Mind you, I have no doubt that Christ can do all things, but we are talking about then verses now.

We also need to recognize that once a USA Christian has been born again, they become part of Israel, because God called the Israelites to “come out of her.” Many, as you say, focus on the events/turmoils of the Mid-east. Well what about our own brothers and sisters here who, if they happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, are hugely persecuted for the color of their skin, or even worse, are persecuted because of where they come from?

        • I agree with you Eddy….I believe many have a misconception of Rapture. Even in Revelations where many state the word “caught up” means the rapture. But if one reads and pays attention closely, it only states we will be caught up and MEET him in the clouds. And of course, this is the time of the Day of the Lord…

  11. One thing we know for sure, the Great Tribulation period has not yet started. Just my opinion.

    • The Great Tribulation is the last three and a half years. The Tribulation is the first three and a half years…so of course the “Great Tribulation” has not started. Personally, I’ve always been pretrib. However, it’s interesting to see all of the things that have happened and are happening that do fulfill the opening of the seals. The seals are not judgments…they are what man has brought on himself..they are worldly disasters. After the seals comes the judgments. I do know that. Thanks for your input! God bless you! Again, I’ve posted this for input..not because I’m trying to sell an idea of any particular thing. I love stuff to do with prophecy, and this video, especially the horse, was interesting to say the least.

"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 God's call to the world! Are you ready?
