I need you to pray about a friend of mine who needs to be lifted up in prayer. Her name is Cindy XXXXXX, and she has been undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer. Today, her doctors have given up hope for her, stopped all treatment, & have given her a death sentence of 2 to 3 months. She goes to our church, and lives up in XXX. This is urgent, as you can see. Thanks very much. Any other friends who you know who are prayer warriors, please notify them, as well.

Our Heavenly Father, I come to You in humbleness and praise for who You are, and for all that You’ve done. You, Father, are the almighty and eternal God, the maker of heaven and earth, and You are in complete and total control of all things. You know and have decreed the number of our days, and there is nothing, not one single thing, that happens to us that You have not allowed. Heavenly Father, I come to You and I ask You to be with this young woman Cindy. Father, You know as no one else what this young woman is going through, the struggle she’s been facing, the pain she’s enduring, the thoughts and emotions she’s been thinking and feeling, and Father, I pray that You would take her into your arms and hold her tenderly in Your embrace. Father, give her peace as she goes through this trial, and comfort her in her affliction. Help her to know that You love her, and that You are with her, and that You have not and will not forsake her. Give her strength, and courage in the midst of this storm. Father, I pray that You be with her family and her loved ones, her caretakers, and that You would surround her with those who are faithful and trustworthy and who believe that You are the God of miracles, and that there is nothing that You cannot do. Heavenly Father, help us all to know that in this world of uncertainty and darkness that there is one, and only one, thing of which we can be certain, and that is that You love us, and have given us all things through Your Son Jesus Christ who is our blessed hope and assurance that one day we shall live throughout eternity with You. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

I will pray for Cindy. We serve a God who doesn’t care what stage your cancer is in or what time the doctors have given you to live. Christ has authority over all that we face including this cancer. With just a word, he can heal our sister and restore her to wholeness. All of our days were numbered before one of them came to be. God alone knows the length of days that he has deemed good for Cindy. I pray that he will give her this peace that no matter what happens, he is with her whether he heals her or brings her to him. He will never leave her alone and she will not face this scared. His strength and love are with her right now. I will be praying for her.
