Go Ahead, Just Do It!

Let us all remember, dear brothers and sisters, our purpose today as we go about our daily routines–to serve the
Lord our God! No matter what the situation, take the time to witness to one person, and to do something out of love for someone who has a need.  Did you know the people who are bitter and whom you have a hard time loving have a need?

That is why they are angry, mean, and bitter.  They need the love of Jesus!  Give them that love today!  If there is a dispute between you and another person, even if it is not your fault, go to them and tell them you are sorry and you want peace between you.  This is what Jesus would have you do.  There is no room in the kingdom of heaven, as God’s child, for pride, unforgiveness, or resentment.  You may very well lead them to Christ by doing this.  There is nothing in this world so important that it is worth your eternal soul, or theirs.

Have you ever done something like this before?  It feels good!  It feels like a weight has been lifted off of your shoulders and puts you in a good mood.  It can be the hardest thing if you allow pride, resentment, rejection, and/or stubbornness to get in the way; don’t let it!  These things are not from God; they are from the father of lies, Satan, who would keep us in bondage to the flesh.  Pride and unforgiveness are directly from Satan himself, and they do not please God.

The people we become angry with are no different as far as their basic needs and desires. When you’re mad, doesn’t it feel good inside when someone comes to you and says, “Hey, I’m sorry.  Let’s just have peace and forget about this,”?  Don’t you end up respecting the person more for doing that?  The enemy would say to us, “If you do that, they’re going to think they’ve got one over on you!  You’re going to look like a wimp!  A loser!  Don’t do it!  You’re admitting you’re wrong if you do that, and you’re not wrong!  You don’t want to look ‘wrong’, do you?”  That is a lie!  You will not appear this way at all!  As I said, you will appear stronger and more honorable.

Step outside of the flesh of lies today and take a walk in the Spirit of truth!  Try it!  You will discover it’s an outfit worth wearing each and every day!  You might even save a soul from hell, including your own!

Don’t wait any longer.  Stand up today and look the devil in the face and boldly say, “In the name of Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, I will have no other god’s before me! Now you go away and leave me alone!  I will not listen to your lies because I gave you up when I took Jesus as my Savior!  I committed my life to Christ!  As a child of God, I am commanded to love and to forgive.  I don’t care what you  have to say, devil!  For it is written, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you!” (James 4:7)  Then begin praising the Lord!

Who will you serve today?  Will you serve the enemy, whose end is eternal death and damnation?  Or will you serve the Lord your God who rescued you from the land of bondage?  Will you rise up out of slavery and step out in faith into the land of freedom?  Choose this day whom you will serve!  As for me and my house….we shall serve the Lord our God!

Joshua 24:15
“And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

  2. This is an awesome word, and very timely! “Step outside of the flesh of lies today and take a walk in the Spirit of truth! Try it! You will discover it’s an outfit worth wearing each and every day! You might even save a soul from hell, including your own!” Really enjoyed this! By the way, your post, and today’s praise and worship session are very similar in content! God is truly moving by His spirit! Thanks for sharing! May the Lord bless you!

    • Thank you Paulette…and amen! Yesterday, I came across several posts that were already posted that I had ‘not’ seen that were very similar. I have noticed this here quite a bit..the move of the Spirit..where many of the posts are similar, if not the same. It’s amazing! God bless you and it’s always a pleasure to hear from you sister!

  3. a huge “stand-on-top-of-the-mountain”…AMEN sister! Praise the Lord for this posting. The Body of Christ is being ripped apart over trivial, fleshly, human mediocrity! Let us just get armored up Christian soldiers and get moving in the steps ordered by our Lord!
    Love you sister

  4. What a wonderful reminder of what we’re to do for His glory. Thank you and God bless you.

    • You’re welcome, Steve. I was having some coffee this morning before work and I got that nudge, “Need ya to write something!” I said, “You’d better be writing it, Lord, because I only have fifteen minutes before I have to head out the door!” So, I wrote it. Hope it’s not too sloppily put together…it was one of those “I didn’t know what I was going to write about and had to hurry” kind of things! LOL!! God bless you!

      • Written as well as some of your posts you labor over for hours. I know you’re not am writer. Neither am I. Things I write are shallow and superficial when I write them in my own strength. But when I allow Him to write, it’s Pulitzer Prize material. I know you believe that as well. I enjoyed it.

        • I can honestly say that I have never labored to write. Everything I write usually takes me 15-20 minutes max (well, I do go back and find things I don’t like and change it). I only write a post when the Holy Spirit moves me to do so..that would be why. Now, if I just tried to write something without that inspiration from Him, it’s hard telling how long it might take me. I praise the Lord and thank Him for such things. God is good!

  5. I think the Spirit is moving today?? 🙂
