Spiritual Reflections

Might God Be Speaking To You?

Oftentimes, the trials in our own lives are a direct reflection of something God is trying to tell us spiritually.

Here is an example:  Does it seem all of your time is being consumed with things you would rather not be doing and you have barely any time for yourself?  All of your ‘me’ time is nearly non-existent?  Wake up!  Maybe God is trying to tell you that you’re not spending enough time with Him; so your ‘me’ time is being taken away because it seems your ‘me’ time far outweighs your “God” time.

Whatever is going on in your life, take a moment and think:  What is God trying to tell me?  Whatever you are suffering, compare it to something you might be doing that displeases God and see if it fits.  Many of your sufferings, trials, and tribulations may very well be God communicating with you.  If you repent and make your way right with God in this area(s), you might find that the specific tribulation(s) in your life will begin to improve and miraculously disappear!

Maybe something most beautiful is hiding beneath the surface of heartache and sorrow.     -Lyn

  1. It is true. Our tirals are often the things that help us draw close to Jesus if we let them. They have the power to empty us of all the dross and chaff and to fill us with more of the compassion of Christ.

"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 God's call to the world! Are you ready?
