GRACE AND GOD’S LAW

This is an EXCELLENT article written by a fellow Christian who, like some of us, can see clearly what the Bible is telling us. No excuses, no sugar, no spice..just plain truth.

  1. This a good or a God message
    Thank you for posting this

Some time I question do we really read scripture in context

The bible teaches the law is “obsolete or invalid”

Hbr 8:13 By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.

The law wasn’t Gods intended purpose but the means of mankind acknowledging their own sin

Hbr 10:1 The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming not the realities

The reality is the grace of our lord jesus christ, not the law

Gal 5:14 The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Jhn 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

He said “A” commandment not commandments

    in conclusion

1John 3:23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

I think this is the point we don’t understand about what commandments.                John wasn’t referring to the old ones but the ones Jesus established Through fulfilling the old.

  2. Thank you Lyn for reblogging…I’m hoping to find more which believe the Bible and take God’s word for what it truly is…many, many blessings to you…Robin

"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 God's call to the world! Are you ready?
