As you know, I can’t watch videos but I have been watching the news. Some of my friends here live in the area affected. I pray for all affected by the storm and for the clean-up and restoration afterwards.
My eldest son lives in Lower Manhattan, overlooking the Hudson and the Statue of Liberty. The waters probably reached his apartment building, but his apartment is on the sixth floor so his belongings should be safe. He works for Bloomberg and Bloombergs evacuated him to a mid town hotel, so he is safe, though possibly without power.
